Every registered Agent with A. B. Nicholas is required to obtain Compliance Certification to receive fees on any transaction they refer to the A. B. Nicholas LeverageLine program. What does certification do for you otherwise?
Certification gives you legal protection. Your test scores and your certification certificate are kept on file at A. B. Nicholas to prove that you have not only take the training course but passed the exam. In the future, should any client wrongfully accuse you of violating regulation or law both you and A. B. Nicholas will be able to point to your successful exam as proof that you were trained in and were practicing the rules in compliance with regulations.
Certification is also proof that A. B. Nicholas and our legal team stand behind you as you discuss the program with prospective clients. Becoming a Certified Agent with us shows the public that we have ascertained and confirmed that you understand the LeverageLine program and that you know how to serve the client appropriately.
Certification is also a credential that you will be free to add to your resume and public emails. A certified A. B. Nicholas agent says you have passed the training and compliance requirements and can act at a knowledgable source about the program.
Certification is not as hard as it sounds, and if you don’t have a couple of hours to watch the training video, study the ABN FAQ section, and take the exam, you are always free to break it up. Remember that you can take the exam as many times as you need, to reach the 100% correct level. And if you don’t have a two hour block to spare, do one part (e.g., the video) and come back later for the exam. If you get lost or need any URL to return to any portion of the process, just contact Marie Wood at 202.379.4744 ext. 2, or write [email protected]
Certification for a financial program like this is just smart. It helps and it secures and it protects all parties. We strongly urge all registered agents to obtain certification today.
